What information should I prepare?
Full name, date of birth, courthouse or police station involved, file number if known, and a brief summary of the situation.

What is the difference between a first call and an in-depth consultation?
The first call is used to understand your situation and confirm whether the file fits our practice. A longer, more detailed consultation may then be paid.
Fees
Do you publish your fees?
Cost depends on the nature and complexity of the file. We explain the deposit, terms and scope before any engagement.

Do you handle Highway Safety Code tickets?
No, unless they come with criminal charges. Our practice focuses on criminal law.

What is the difference between criminal and penal law?
In Québec, «droit criminel» often refers to what elsewhere is called «droit pénal». Our practice focuses on offences under the Criminal Code and certain federal statutes.
